  We have been going there for many years and have always had a superb meal.
  The staff is friendly and professional and the food is EXCELLENT!
  We live in Tennessee but return to visit family and friends often and this is the one place we always eat at while in Wisconsin.

  Feil's has a great interior atmosphere! I love the dimly lit Germanic interior with crests and wood décor. The salad bar is huge, the menu is perfect with German dishes (and American), and they have a variety of German biers on tap.
  
  The only downside is the slow service to be seated, so be prepared to tip a few back while you wait.

  Long past its prime, this place feels like the Disney ride "It's a Small World," except you're stuck in Germany. It's corny, cutesy, and literally nothing has been updated since the 60s. Ancient carpets, narrow wooden chairs sticky to the touch, and grimy menus make one wonder what the kitchen looks like. Luckily, the place is poorly lit, so you can't see TOO much. Filled water glasses are set out on tables long before customers arrive, so that when you sit down to eat, your ice has melted and there are dusty bits floating in your water. The food is... OK I guess. The beer selection is good, but one of the bottled beers we got was expired by over a year. The "biergarten" is a charmless, gravel-coated patio equipped with 1 very large-screen TV, somewhat awkwardly placed against the building. Bring grandpa or grandma here maybe once for some brunch-time nostalgia or a drink, but don't bother to come back.
